Occasionally, the South Bend watch company would swap "South Bend" on the dial for a jewelers name. This watch was for the jeweler Aaron Pursel of Noblesville, Indiana. The dial and the movement say Aaron Pursell but the engraving on the case appears to say W. S. Denoel.
I'm not sure how exactly this type of thing took place, but its so cool that South Bend did this for jewelers and that now I have my hands on another one.
